Description
Omega Centauri (NGC 5139), the most massive globular cluster in the Milky Way, with a recently identified IMBH at its core, represents an unique opportunity to study both dark matter and millisecond pulsars populations. Due to its unique view on the southern sky, the H.E.S.S. TeV gamma rays detector in Namibia is currently observing this region. In this work we will present the H.E.S.S. detector and the current observational activities towards the detection of TeV emission from this source.
